Name: Namor McKenzie

Canon: Marvel 616, just pre-New Invaders (2004)

Height: 6'2"

Eyes: Green

Hair: Black

Age: Late 80s -- middle-aged for an Atlantean

Personality: The most stubborn, proud, arrogant person you'll ever meet. Probably dislikes you before ever meeting you. Definitely dislikes whatever you're about to propose. Has the innate skill of managing to rub everyone in a room exactly the wrong way.

Somehow, despite this, has an unusually high charisma, and is not shy about using it to get what he wants. If he's smiling, you should probably be worried.

On the rare chance he decides he likes you, you will have one of the most staunch, loyal allies you've ever encountered.

Unless he goes for a double-cross.

It really depends on the day.

Distinguishing Features: Namor has three pairs of gills along his neck, just behind his jaw. His ears are tall and pointed. He has eyebrows for days. (He absolutely looks like Spock and no one has ever mentioned it before. Nope.)

Then there are the wings on his ankles. White and sleek and each about as large as those on a dove, they're usually held flat to his legs to keep them out of the way. When If he's wearing pants, they're easily hidden.

Powers/Abilities: Incredible strength, durability, and speed. Can breathe both above and below water. Being from the Antarctic, doesn't care about sub-zero temperatures in the least. Has a high resistance to electrical shock, as well as (mostly) bulletproof and fireproof skin. Can fly, thanks to his ankle wings. Yes, they're ridiculous-looking, and yes, he'll probably punch you for saying so.

tl;dr History: The son of an Atlantean princess and an American sea captain, Namor was raised to reject his human heritage and hate the surface world. But various alliances of convenience over the years have grown into a true respect for the handful of humans Namor considers worthy, and has shown him that even surface-dwellers can be honorable... in their own way. Though he's often at odds with humanity, Namor is more willing to listen to the surface world side of things than he was in his youth, provided it's delivered with the proper amount of respect befitting a King.

Note: Not compliant with Namor's backstory from Zdarsky's Invaders (2019).
